Photo Friday!

Hello lovelies!

Happy Friday! And happy half term if like my husband you're a school based person and are looking forward to a child free two weeks. Up until a few months ago I was one of those people and really looked forward to them too but now I really look forward to having a whole two weeks to spend with my hairy husband! Unfortunately he has to work at the school's playscheme for Monday and Tuesday which sucks a bit because Monday is my birthday! On Tuesday though we're going to my mum's for a few days. She lives in Bury St Edmunds which is a really beautiful, quiet town so not only do we get poached egg on toast for breakfast every day courtesy of my lovely mum, we also get to explore a pretty town! It's like a mini-holiday. Then for the second week we're going to do grown up things (that I secretly really enjoy) like sort the garden out, paint the bedroom and finish sanding down and painting the dining room suite.

Anyway, here are a few photos for Friday :)

First, my birthday nails! My nails are horribly short at the minute so my lovely friend, Gemma who owns the village salon suggested we do something a bit different and quite cute with them! I get to be her guinea pig when it comes to doing new things with Gelish which suits me fine because she knows me well and everything she does is gorgeous!

I've had two cake orders this week, the first was oddly enough from Gemma for her boyfriend's 30th birthday. He loves golf so she wanted something golfy!

The other was for a girl's birthday. Her friend asked for 12 lemon with pastel colours and loveheart sweeties and 12 chocolate. I got to use my embossing mat for the first time which was fun and now I want loads! For the chocolate ones she didn't know what sort of decoration she wanted so I went with something bright, cheerful and springtime-y!

Right, I am off for a long hot bath. I had a crazy impulsive moment yesterday and decided to rearrange all the bedroom furniture which meant moving a king size iron bed, wardrobe and chest of drawers by myself and now my back is killing me! Definitely in need of hot water and gorgeous home made bath salts my sister-in-law made me.

Have a lovely weekend, everyone!
